StreamScape Technologies are a provider of infrastructure software and related consulting services. We developed a light-weight, scalable application fabric that may be used to automate business processes, develop targeted SaaS solutions and social media systems, build Web 2.0 or mobile applications. Our Service Application Engine™ allows developers to solve a broad range of problems. No need for a monolithic product stack, endless XML configuration hacking or an army of integration specialists, just a fast and scalable application engine built for productivity.

Our product applies collaborative computing principles to system design and addresses the problem of data-centric system integration thru the use of a unique technology called Data Spaces. The service engine combines the power of a peer messaging system, a web application server and a database into a compact runtime that may be deployed as a stand-alone node or embedded into any Java application, making it part of the application fabric.

The company was founded in 2008 by software industry experts in the area of distributed system design, business process automation and improvement. StreamScape Technologies is privately funded.  Our investment partners and advisers have held prominent positions in some of the software industry's largest companies such as IBM, Oracle, Sun Micro Systems, Sybase, TIBCO, Information Builders and Progress Software.

About the Founder

Dmitry Lelchuk (CTO and founder) has over 20 years experience in the technology industry, including leadership and management roles in pre-sales, consulting, technical support and product development.  His background is in financial services and Capital Markets technologies, designing many of the infrastructure systems used by Fortune 500 firms such as E*Trade, Bear Stearns, Merrill Lynch, Met Life, JPMorgan Chase, The Vanguard Group, NYMEX and Barclays Global Investors.

Prior to founding StreamScape Technologies Dmitry held the position of Chief Architect for Financial Services at Progress Software, managing a team of pre-sales and service delivery resources, growing the vertical into a $7 million business. In prior years he led the Advanced Technology Group at TIBCO Software during the company’s rapid growth years.  Before joining TIBCO, he was a Principal Architect at Sybase, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team on product features, strategy, partnerships and analyst relations in Research Triangle.
